A New Ballad of Death and Love by Tensas

To follow up his respected debut 2020 EP, Colorado based songwriter Tensas shares his next single titled Lovely Bones. You can feel the loneliness and pain felt when he sings the opening lyrics "Take these bones, far from home. Far from love, until I'm gone.” as a final request to be forgotten in this world and to be free in the next. It was both death and newfound love that sprouted these emotional lyrics to life last year during the middle of a worldwide pandemic.

This emotionally evocative folk ballad features a unique mandolin performance that's driven by fingerpicking acoustic guitar and bass that were all written and performed by Tensas in his latest self-recorded acoustic single. When asked why he chose to release this song as its own single, he replied "Losing more loved ones last year made me realize that if I could only record just one more song for the world to hear, this would be the one I want to leave behind".

The release of Lovely Bones and 2 other upcoming singles are part of the lead-up to promote the first full length album that he plans to release later this year.
